Diana V. Carter, 74, of Kutztown, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 17, 2026 in Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest. She was the wife of Glenn Carter. They married on October 9, 1971 and would have celebrated fifty-five years of marriage.

Born in Valdosta, Georgia, Diana was a daughter of the late Hilda Schmeck. She graduated from Oley Valley High School in 1970. Diana and Glenn were together since tenth grade and were named Prom King and Queen. She was an office worker and dispatcher at H&L Concrete, Virginville.

Diana enjoyed collecting dolls, thrift shopping, buying quilts and things for her daughters and grandchildren, camping and country line dancing. She had a great love for her chihuahuas Pebbles, Shikira, Foxy and Sophia.

Surviving in addition to her husband Glenn are two daughters: Tonya L. (Carter) Wanamaker, wife of Cliff, Lenhartsville; and Tammi L. (Carter) Repinsky, Muhlenberg Twp.; and four grandchildren: Jacob Wanamaker, husband of Brittany, Sierra Wanamaker, Cade Repinsky and Damien Repinsky. Diana is also survived by her siblings: Deborah Hein, wife of Donald, Dolores Simmons, wife of Robert, Denise Kurutz, wife of John, and Charles Herman, husband of Eileen.
