Dennis G. Heydt, 75, of Mohrsville, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022 in the Laurel Center. He was the husband of Lorraine P. (Adam) Heydt. They were married on November 8, 1969 and would have celebrated fifty-three years of marriage.

Born in Shoemakersville, he was the son of the late George C. and Elsie R. (Rhine) Heydt. Dennis worked for Windsor Service for more than thirty years. He was a member of Shoemakersville Fire Company; Perry Game Association; and Port Clinton Fish and Game Association. Dennis enjoyed camping, riding his scooter, hunting and fishing.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a sister: Donna E. (Heydt), wife of Jan Messersmith, Sinking Spring; a brother: Lyn A. Heydt, husband of Penny Heydt, Leesport; and many nieces, nephews, and their families. Dennis was predeceased by a half-sister: Janice E. Readinger.

A celebration of Dennis's life will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport.
