Dennis L. Hettinger, 65, of Perry Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 25, 2022.
Born in West Reading, he was the son of the late Norman and Carolyn (Krause) Hettinger. Dennis was a 1975 graduate of Hamburg Area High School. He worked for Shartlesville Farm Service. He was a member of the former Trinity United Church of Christ, Leesport. Dennis loved hunting, especially at the cabin in Sullivan County. He also enjoyed spending time with his nephews and going to Larry and Fay's to see Remi, their black and tan Coon Hound.
Dennis is survived by his brother: Larry M. Hettinger, and his wife Fay (Weist), Leesport; and two nephews: Ryan Hettinger and Joshua Hettinger, and his wife Amber.
Services are private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Leesport Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Perry Township Game Association, P.O.
