Greenfield
May 3, 1942 – February 17, 2026
Dennis N. Greenfield, 83, formerly of Upper Bern Twp., recently residing at Middletown Home, Middletown, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026. He was the husband of the late Bonnie L. (Bard) Greenfield, died July 21, 2010.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Kenneth B. and Betty L. (Fletcher) Greenfield. He graduated from Central Dauphin High School in 1960; and later served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam era. Dennis worked as a technician for the Xerox Corporation for 29 years, retiring in 1994. He was a former member of Frieden's Church, Shartlesville. Dennis was a mentor to many kids; enjoyed writing poems for his family during their birthdays and anniversaries; and volunteered in schools repairing bicycles and teaching bicycle safety for approximately 25 years. He was a former boy scout cub master in Shartlesville; as well as serving as cub master for 5 different packs in Reading through the Boy Scout Council. He also served as archery director at Hawk Mountain Scout Reservation for approximately 10 years. Dennis had a love of old Fords; he repaired, and painted them for himself and others.
He is survived by a son: Keith A. Greenfield, husband of Robbi L. (Lane), Frystown; and a daughter: Jodi L. (Greenfield) Lancaster, Elizabethtown. He is also survived by a sister: Geri (Greenfield), wife of Richard Miller, South Carolina. Dennis was predeceased by his twin brother: Donald N. Greenfield.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 10:30 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg, (off street parking in rear).
