Dennis G. Breidegam, 62, of Centre Twp., passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021. He was the husband of Gloria J. (Treptow) Breidegam. They were married December 16, 1988 and celebrated 33 years of marriage. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Charles L. and Arlene B. (Hoch) Breidegam. He graduated from Schuylkill Valley High School in 1977. Dennis owned and operated Breidegam's Garage with his brother (Butch), working there since before he graduated high school. He was a skilled mechanic, tow truck operator, as well as a farmer. He was a member of Central Berks Fire Co., and Centre Twp. Land Preservation. He was a dedicated supporter of many local organizations. He was very charitable. He loved his family and his animals. He will always be remembered as a hard worker, and as someone that would give the shirt off his back for anyone that needed it. He was always smiling and telling jokes. Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons: Darin G. Breidegam, husband of Rebecca A. (Cubillan), Downingtown, Daniel G. Breidegam, Gilbertsville, and Derek G. Breidegam, fiancé of Jenna M. Scott, Reading; and two grandchildren: David and Dylan. He is also survived by his brothers: Richard C. Breidegam, companion of Linda Guy, Lehighton, and Donald L. "Butch" Breidegam; and his sisters: Linda L., widow of Tyrone Williams, Philadelphia, Janet S., widow of James Hendricks, Centre Twp., and Kathy M. "Kate", widow of John Kauffman, Tilden Twp. He was predeceased by a brother: John S. Breidegam, husband of Lynn R. Breidegam, Auburn. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews: Wendy, Stephanie, Vickie, Jill, Jimmy, Jenna; and predeceased by Michael. Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 3, 2022 at 7:30 pm in Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport. A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the funeral home.
