Dennis R. Bausher, 75, of Centre Twp., passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 in the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Eva M. (Strausser) Bausher. They were married on May 30, 1981 and celebrated forty-three years of marriage.

Born in Reading, he was the son of Dorothy (Dissinger) Bausher, Centre Twp.; and the late Elmer Bausher. Dennis was a graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School. He was a proud U.S. Marine of the Vietnam War. He was an electrician, carpet installer, and last worked for Reading Tube (Cambridge-Lee Industries). Dennis was a member of Salem (Belleman's) Church. He was a life member of the Leesport Fire Company. Dennis enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are his children: Daniel R. Bausher, husband of Michelle; Shellie R. Stewart, wife of Lee; and Erica L. Brumbach, wife of Steven; five grandchildren: Elianna M. Stewart; Quaid E. Stewart; Nathan R. Bausher; Steven Brumbach, Jr; and Stephanie Brumbach; and two great-grandsons: Tobias Bausher and Jaxson Brumbach. Dennis is also survived by his siblings: James Bausher, husband of Bonnie; Susan Wolf, widow of Michael; and Sharon Schappell, wife of Randy.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 10:30 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Visitation with the family will be from 9:00 to 10:30 am.
