Denise Marie Berger, 47, of Pottsville, died Monday, February 10, 2014 in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Mary Ann (Grossman) Berger, Deer Lake; and the late Richard P. Berger. Denise is survived by five children: Joseph R. Bickleman, Deer Lake, Timothy E. Hostetter, Deer Lake, Clarissa M. Hostetter, Pottsville, Amber M. Phelps, Florida, and Chelsey M. Hostetter, Deer Lake; nine grandchildren; a brother: Jeff P. Berger, husband of Carmela, Stanhope, NJ; and two sisters: Christine M. Keinard, wife of Duane, Reinholds, and Teresa M. Hiester, wife of James, Schuylkill Haven. She is also survived by her close friend Bob and his son, Albert. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 12 noon from St. Ambrose Parish, 201 Randel Street, Schuylkill Haven.
