Debra E. Steinly, 70, of Upper Bern Twp., passed away in her residence on Sunday, November 26, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Kenneth W. Steinly, Sr.

Born in Denver, Lancaster Co., she was the daughter of the late Harold E. and Mildred B. (Doutrich) Ruble. Debra worked for various paper and mailing companies, most recently working at JSM, Hamburg. She was a member of the Shartlesville Fire Company. Debra was a huge fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State football. She loved her horses and enjoyed harness racing, barrel racing and showing horses. She was a cowgirl at heart. Debra also enjoyed going to rodeos, concerts, taking pictures of her animals, cooking, flowers, gardening, feeding the birds and a chipmunk that she befriended.

Debra is survived by a son: Kenneth W. Steinly, Jr.; and the extended Steinly family.

Services will be held on Saturday at 11:30 am from Frieden's Church, 28 Wolf Creek Road, Shartlesville, PA. Burial will follow in Frieden's Cemetery. A viewing will be held in the church Saturday 10:00 to 11:30 am. In honor of Debra's love of football, those attending are welcome to wear their favorite sports attire.
