David A. "Yogi" Yeager, 74, of Windsor Twp., passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022 in his residence.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Curtis D. and Arlene E. (Adam) Yeager. He graduated from Hamburg Area High School in 1966, and later received a journeyman's certificate from Penn State University. In high school, he played baseball and wrestled. He loved sports. He also enjoyed playing golf and tennis. He had been a member of the National Guard. David worked as a pattern maker early in his career and later worked for many years at Brush Wellman, Shoemakersville before retiring. During retirement, he owned and operated Yeager's Christmas Tree Farm and Deerskin Shop, Windsor Twp., since 1988. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, going to the casinos in the area, and getting his morning coffee with his friends at the diner.

David is survived by three daughters: Nicole M. Yeager, Orange City, FL, Juliette K. (Yeager) Finley, wife of Michael T. Finley, Jr., Jacksonville Beach, FL, and Kristin K. Yeager, Philadelphia; and a granddaughter: Chandler L. Finley.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 28, 2022 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg (Off-street parking in rear). Burial will follow in Zion's Cemetery, Perry Twp. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 am in the funeral home.
