David E. Swoffer, 86, of South Heidelberg Twp., died Sunday, December 22, 2024 in Mifflin Center. He was the husband of Debra R. (Horning) Swoffer. They were married August 20, 1994 and celebrated 30 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John and Sara (Wolfskill) Swoffer. He graduated from Upper Merion High School in 1956 and later attended Drexel University. He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hamburg. David owned and operated Swoffer Advertising for 31 years. He loved his customers. David loved cars, boats, and the Philadelphia Phillies. He always loved ballroom dancing, especially with his wife Debra.

He is survived by two step-sons: Matthew B. Eshelman, husband of Jennifer (Halladay), Ephrata, and Adam R. Troxel, husband of Kelsey (Rentschler), Hamburg; and three grandchildren: Julia, Madalyn, and Hayden.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Mifflin Center for the love and compassion shown to David and his family.
