OBITUARY NOTICE WRITTEN BY THE FAMILY OF DAVID K. PECKHAM: It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our son, brother, uncle, and dear friend David Kenneth Peckham on August 8, 2019 at 61 years old. David graduated from Upper Merion in 1975. David was a true scholar excelling in math and the sciences. He was on the wrestling, golf and tennis teams. He furthered his education obtaining a degree as an Imaging Technician working for GE Medical for over 20 years and most recently with ISS Solutions/Geisinger. David was a great athlete. He was extremely talented in ping pong, wrestling, tennis, golf, skiing, water sports and roofball, continually fighting for the title of "Numero Uno" with his Uncle Ted McKee. David's greatest love was music, his guitars, and playing for others. His very first "gig" was playing folk songs for his mother's first grade class. The adoration he received from thank you letters spurred him on to older audiences. David played all over the Kutztown area making many new friends. David is survived by his mother Lowell McMullin, his father Harlan Peckham, siblings Catherine Legerton, Ted Peckham (Kate), Drew Peckham, nephews Chris Legerton (Ashley), Sean Peckham, Connor Peckham and his fiancée Ann Hoffman. David is preceded in death by his late wife, Cheryl Peckham. A memorial service for David is being planned for the near future. In lieu of flowers memorial donations made be made in David's name to the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI). His family asks that you all take care of each other and reach out with compassion and love to those in need.
