David J. Levengood-Schaeffer, 22, of Upper Bern Twp., passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2016. Born in West Reading, he was the son of Carl R. Schaeffer, Upper Bern Twp.; and Donna J. (Levengood) Kase, Mohrsville. He was a 2012 graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School. David worked for Reading Truck Body. He enjoyed going camping, hiking, bonfires, kayaking and playing video games. David especially enjoyed the time he spent with his daughter. Surviving in addition to his parents is his daughter: Angelina Orlando; one sister: Roxanne J. Schaeffer, Kutztown; one brother: Edward J. Kase, Mohrsville; and his grandparents: Doreen Levengood, Hamburg; and David Flowers, South Carolina. Services will be held on Friday, March 25, 2016 at 1:30 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A visitation with the family will be held in the funeral home Friday 12:00 noon to 1:30 pm. Memorial contributions can be given to the family to assist with final expenses.
