David C. Fredericks, 74, of Shoemakersville, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022 in his residence. He was the husband of Rose M. (Messner) Fredericks. They were married August 11, 1979 and celebrated 42 years of marriage.

Born in Easton, he was the son of the late Fred C. and Constance (Hackett) Fredericks. He graduated from Easton Area High School in 1967. He was a member of the Hamburg Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Dave was employed at Wernersville State Hospital as an Aide for 35 years before retiring in 2007. He loved to play pinochle, and pool. He and his wife always enjoyed dancing to the oldies. He loved to travel. Dave will always be remembered for his ability to talk to anybody and everybody, no matter where he was in the world. He was always sharing his words of wisdom.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a son: Travis D. Fredericks, Temple; 2 granddaughters: Lily and Victoria; three brothers: Tyrone G., and Rodney Fredericks, both of Easton and Delroy Fredericks; and two sisters: Barbara (Fredericks) Jackson, Arizona, and Juanita Fredericks, Easton. He is also survived by a very special family: The Fehnel Family, he considered this family his brothers and sisters. He was predeceased by two siblings: Joanie (Fredericks) Falwell, and Fred E. Fredericks, Jr.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 10:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. A visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 am in the funeral home.
