David A. Clare, 64, of Hamburg, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023. He was the husband of Denise L. (Prutzman) Clare. They were married on June 5, 1993 and celebrated thirty-years of marriage.

Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late David and Frances (Lucas) Clare. He graduated from Vo-Tech in auto mechanics. David worked for over thirty years for Mazaika Concrete Construction, Hamburg. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in his garden.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons: David E. Clare, Allentown; and Daniel A. Clare, husband of Kim, Germansville; three grandchildren: Lily, Daniel Jr., and Lucas; and one brother: James Clare, husband of Dorothy, New Tripoli. David is also survived by his mother-in-law: Linda E. Prutzman, Hamburg.

Services will be held on Thursday at 1:30 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will follow in St. Paul's (Smoke) Cemetery, Hamburg. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Thursday 12:00 noon to 1:30 pm.
