Daniel L. Ney, Jr., 62, of Perry Twp., passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021 in Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital, Orwigsburg. He was the companion of Sherry L. Zohner, sharing thirty-one years together. Born in West Reading, he was the son of the late Daniel L. Ney, Sr. and Gladys S. (Hollenbach) Lease. He was a 1976 graduate of Hamburg Area High School. Daniel was a press assistant for IWCO, Hamburg. He loved NASCAR and enjoyed woodworking. Daniel was a member of the Shoemakersville Fire Company. Surviving in addition to Sherry are two step-children: Traci A. Zohner, companion of David H. Osenbach, Shoemakersville; and Troy A. Zohner, companion of Heather Slomski, Tupper Lake, NY Daniel is also survived by two brothers: Robert Ney and Randy Lease; two sisters: Yvonne Ney and Dawn (Lease) Boyer, companion of Michael Christman; his nieces; and step-father: Roger Lease, Hamburg.
