Conner A. Kleffel, 13, of Centre Twp., passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center, from injuries sustained in an ATV accident.
Born in West Reading, he was the son of Bradley A. and Nicoleen M. (Herman) Kleffel. He was in 8th grade at Schuylkill Valley Middle School. He was a member of LCBC Berks, Leesport. Conner loved to play baseball, basketball, and football. He was a member of the BAFYL Championship team in 2015. He loved sports, hanging out with his friends, working out, and helping others. He was a Boy Scout, having received the Arrow of Light. Conner was named Student & Athlete of the Month for September 2017. He and his father enjoyed taking care of the baseball fields in Leesport. Conner was an extremely hard worker and was an "old soul."
Surviving in addition to his parents is a sister: Brynley M. Kleffel, at home; his maternal grandparents: June C. (Foley) Clemmer wife of Galen Clemmer, Strausstown; his paternal grandmother: Janet E. (Miller) Kleffel, Ontelaunee Twp.; his aunts & uncles: Briana Almengor (Lawrence), Bradley Clemmer (Jennifer), Jared Herman (Krista), Garrett Clemmer (Kristen), Kara Herman, Brandon Clemmer (Brooke), and Frederick C. Kleffel, Sr., companion of Loretta Correll; and eighteen cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfathers: Rudy W. Herman, and Frederick C. Kleffel, Sr.
Conner was an organ donor and through the Gift of Life Donor Program will be able to help save many lives.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, December 1, 2017 at 7:00 pm from LCBC Berks, 130 Redners Way, Leesport, PA 19533. A visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the church.
