Clyde E. Renninger, Sr., "Bud", 83, of Pottsville and Shoemakersville, died Sunday, September 22, 2013 in the residence of his companion Mildred J. Gradwell, Pottsville. Born in Palo Alto, he was the son of the late Earl Renninger and Angelina (Nothstein) Renninger Pasker. He worked for thirty-six years as a tow motor operator for Dana Corporation, Reading. Clyde was well-known at the Leesport Farmers Market. Surviving in addition to his companion Mildred are two sons: Robert and Ronald Renninger, Reading; two daughters: Brenda Renninger and Margaret Cruz, both of Reading; three granddaughters: Nicole, Amanda, and Tina; and three great-grandchildren: Riley, Chloe and Skyler. Clyde is also survived by a sister: Shirley Lemons, in Ohio; and Mildred's sons: Randy and Keith Gradwell. He was predeceased by a son: Clyde E. Renninger, Jr., died July 13, 1995; and four sister: Isabel Svrcek; Mary Penkauski; Catherine and Elizabeth Renninger. Services will be held today, Thursday, at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in St. John's (Gernant's) Cemetery, Ontelaunee Twp.
