Clayton C. Wagner, Jr., 66, of Hamburg, died Sunday, November 13, 2011 in St. Joseph Medical Center, shortly after arrival. His wife, Joan M. (Hoffman) Wagner, died January 8, 2011.
Born in Bernville, he was the son of Grace A. (Reber) Wagner, a guest at the Laurel Center, Tilden Twp.; and the late Clayton C. Wagner, Sr. He was a 1963 graduate of Penn-Bernville High School and attended Pennsylvania State University for two years. Clayton worked for 14 years as a manufacturing engineer for Arrow International, Reading. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting sporting clays; and golfing.
Surviving in addition to his mother is one son: Thomas C. Wagner, Hamburg; one daughter: Brenda M. (Wagner) Krieger, Hamburg; and one grandson: Benjamin. Also surviving is one brother: David W. Wagner, and his wife Sylvia, Centre Twp.; and one sister: Ruth A. (Wagner), wife of Kenneth C. Borkey, Sr., Centre Twp.
Services will be held on Friday at 10:30 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tilden Twp.
