Clarence M. Weidner, 76 , Richmond Twp., died Tuesday, February 9, 2016 in his residence. He was the husband of Eleanor M. (Emore) Weidner. They were married July 28, 1962 and celebrated 53 years of marriage. Born in Richmond Twp., he was the son of the late Clarence H. and Mable M. (Keller) Weidner. He was a member of Becker's St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Molltown, Richmond Twp. He worked as a welder at DANA/ Parish Corp. in Reading for 32 years, retiring in 2000. Clarence served his church, Becker's St. Peter's, as sexton for 47 years, and since 2001, has served as caretaker of Becker's St. Peter's Cemetery, Richmond Twp. He enjoyed fishing, camping, fixing cars, woodworking, and metal working in his spare time, he was a "jack of all trades." He was an avid NASCAR fan. Surviving in addition to his wife are five sons: Randy L. Weidner, Reading, Robert A. Weidner, Fleetwood, Roger C. husband of Tammy Weidner, Lenhartsville, Roy M. husband of Sonia Weidner, Lebanon, and Richard D. Weidner, Fleetwood; a daughter: Charlene M. Weidner, at home; nine grandchildren; and two sisters: Dorothy (Weidner) Smith, Temple, and Anna Mae (Weidner) Kline, Mohrsville. He was predeceased by a brother: Earl Weidner. Memorial Services will held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 in Becker's St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Molltown, Richmond Twp. Service will begin at 11:00 am with a visitation with the family from 9:30 am until time of service. A luncheon and fellowship will follow the service.
