Clarence H. Adam, 82, of Windsor Twp., died Tuesday, June 4, 2013 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. He was the husband of Jennie R. (Dietrich) Adam. They were married on July 2, 1966 and would have celebrated 47 years of marriage.
Born in Shoemakersville, he was the son of the late Harvey and Mary Adam. Clarence worked for twenty-eight years for East Penn Manufacturing. He then worked for King's Market, Hamburg, as a flower deliveryman. Clarence last worked as a custodian for the Hamburg Elementary School.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters: Sandra A. (Adam), wife of Bryan R. Stamm, Bethel; and JoAnn (Adam), wife of Richard Herr, Jonestown; one son: Gary C. Adam, husband of Linda Adam, Hamburg; step-daughter: Sandra K. (Uberti), wife of Richard Kulp, Ephrata; and step-son: Jeffrey Q. Uberti, Reading. Clarence is also survived by one grandson: Rodney A. Stamm, Bethel; six step-grandchildren; ten step-great-grandchildren; and seven step-great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc, 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
