Clarabelle A. Wert, 92, formerly of Mohrsville and Hamburg, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2016 in the Berks Heim. She was the wife of Homer L. Wert, who died April 12, 2008.

Born in Myerstown, she was the daughter of the late Milton A. and Dora M. (Himmelberger) Kintzer. Clarabelle worked for Jake Kessler Knitting Mill, Shoemakersville. She enjoyed spending time with her friends. Clarabelle was a member of Hamburg Community Seventh-day Adventist Church, Tilden Twp.

Clarabelle is survived by two sons: Ronald H. Wert, and his wife Sheryl, Mohrsville; and David E. Wert, and his wife Jo, Daubertville; and three daughters: Sylvia A. (Wert), wife of Lawrence Taney, Schwenksville; Karen M. (Wert), wife of Dennis Hermansader, Blandon; and Phyllis C. Wert, Baltimore, Maryland; twelve grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter: Marlene D. Wert, died in 2009.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 9:30 to 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg. The funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family.
