Clair L. Miller, left his pilgrimage here on earth on April 26, 2023 at the age of 88. He was the son of the late Charles H. and Nora K. (Blatt) Miller. He was born February 12, 1935 in the Penn Valley near Bernville. He was predeceased by his loving wife Marlene L. (Dreibelbis) Miller, passed away February 3, 2020.
Clair was surrounded by his loving family. He had 2 daughters and 2 sons, Debra A. Rodgers, Stevens; Donna M. Kunkle, wife of Dennis, Tilden Twp.; and Darin C. Miller, husband of Tina (Fabian), Bern Twp.; seven grandchildren: Tansy Rodgers, partner of Lou Ferrari, Brandon Rodgers, husband of Tammy, Jared Rodgers, partner of Nikki Newcomber; Dustin Kunkle, Desira (Kunkle) wife of Randy Rickenbach, Dominic DeFuso, Destinee Deesing, partner of Ryan Phillips; and three great-grandchildren: Connor Kunkle, Harper Moll, and Issac Phillips. He was predeceased by a son: David C. Miller, who passed away in 1984. Clair was one of seven children: 2 girls and 5 boys. He is survived by two brothers: Oscar B. Miller and Charles B. Miller. He was predeceased by siblings: Kathryn B. (Miller) (Strausser) Lindenmuth, Ardell (Miller) Bausher, Gerald M. and Kenneth B. Miller.
Clair worked as a farmer and also worked 43 years at Evansville Cement Company, retiring in February 1997, last working as a central control operator. Clair was a member of Salem (Belleman's) Church, Centre Twp. He was a 32nd degree master mason in Lodge 62, Reading, member of Rajah Shrine, Bernville Grange #1887 for 70 years, Berks County Pomona, PA State Grange, PA Farm Bureau, and Central Berks and Virginville Fire Companies. He always enjoyed tinkering, and loved to collect tractors.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 11:30 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport. Burial will follow in Fairview (Belleman's) Cemetery, Centre Twp.
