Christine J. Clemmens, 68, formerly of Mohnton, passed away on January 15, 2021 at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading, due to complications from Covid-19. She was a resident at the Manor at Market Square in Reading. Chrissy was born on April 18, 1952 in West Reading to the late Benjamin C. and Ann Jane (Dodge) Jones. She graduated from Governor Mifflin in 1970 and was a teacher for the Berks County region until her retirement in 2003. She was married to Jeffrey Scott Clemmens for 39 years until his death on October 21, 2019. Chrissy was a social butterfly, loved to laugh, enjoyed having company to converse with and loved reading books. Chrissy is survived by her son, Bradley Clemmens; granddaughter, Elise Clemmens; brother, Thomas (Andy) Jones and his wife Roxanne. She was predeceased by a brother, Benjamin C. Clemmens, Jr; and a sister, Claire J. Tucker. In lieu of flowers, do an act of kindness for someone. Our world needs this right now and this is what Chissy would want. Services will be private.
