Cheryl A. Bachman, 64, of Perry Twp., passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022 in her residence. She was the wife of Gary L. Bachman. They were married on June 14, 2008 and celebrated fourteen years of marriage.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Earl T. Wentzel and Myrtle (Ruth) Wentzel Kline. Cheryl was a crafter and would sell her items online and at craft fairs. She was an aide at Lauer's Park Elementary School. She enjoyed playing games, card games, bingo, going to craft fairs, doing diamond dotz, camping, visiting people and spending time with family and friends. She loved animals and going to the cabin every year with her family. Cheryl loved the color yellow. She had a quick-witted and sarcastic personality which made people smile. Her favorite musical artist was Meatloaf and her favorite wrestler was The Undertaker.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her two daughters: Tarajean (Wentzel), wife of David Dutch; and Debra (Hess), wife of Heath Neiswender; and four grandchildren: Logan Ziegler, Alexandra Dutch, and Cheyanne and Dakota Neiswender. Cheryl is also survived by her two sisters: Sylvia (Wentzel), wife of Michael Gehret; and Lisa (Wentzel), wife of Gary Dreibilbis; one brother: Jeffrey Wentzel, Sr.; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and brothers and sisters-in-law. She was predeceased by a brother: Thomas Wentzel, Sr., husband of Karen.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 24 at 10:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tilden Twp. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Saturday 9:00 to 10:00 am.
