Charles R. Wessner, Jr., 72, of Penn Twp., passed away in his residence on Monday, October 6, 2014 with his wife by his side. He was the husband of Nancy J. (Coover) Wessner. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Charles R. and Virginia (Bright) Wessner. Charles was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from the military following twenty-one years of service. He then worked for Reifsnyder's Ag Center in Bernville. Surviving in addition to his wife are two brothers: William Wessner, Kenhorst and Ronald Wessner, Bern Twp. Charles was predeceased by a sister: Beatrice Flexer. No services will be held.
