Charles W. Werley, 76, of Mohrsville, passed away Monday, July 28, 2025 in his residence.

Born in Centre Twp., he was the son of the late George W. and Ada M. (Knoll) Werley. He graduated from Hamburg Area High School in 1966. He was a US Army Veteran. Charles worked as a welder for DANA Corporation for approximately 20 years, before retiring. He was a member of Shoemakersville Fire Company, enjoyed his cars, hunting, and tending to his garden and flower beds.

He is survived by three brothers: Roy W. Werley, widow of Carolyn (Hein), a resident at Laurel Center, Tilden Twp., Ralph W. Werley, husband of Connie A. (Dissinger) Werley, Hamburg, and Larry W. Werley, husband of Bonnie J. (Boltz) Werley, Centre Twp.; six sisters: Mae A. (Werley) Weber, widow of James, Dauberville, Betty J. (Werley) Kreider, widow of Harold, Hamburg, Ethel M. (Werley) Dietrich, wife of George, Sellersville, Diane F. (Werley) Bausher, widow of Gerald Rentschler, and wife of Douglas Bausher, Centre Twp., Ruth I. (Werley) Donatelli, widow of Michael, Hamburg, and June L. (Werley) Sonon, wife of Ricky Sonon, Perry Twp. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews. Charles was predeceased by a sister: Grace E. (Werley) Rank.
