Charles J. Mohn, 85, of Perry Twp., passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in The Reading Hospital.
Born in Centerport, he was the son of the late Charles A. and Edna R. (Naftzinger) Mohn. He first owned and operated Mohnies Mobile in Leesport and then worked for Lee Heffner as a lime truck driver. Charles then worked as a repairman for Evansville Cement Company, until his retirement. He also enjoyed being a farmer. Charles loved his mules and his cat Charcoal. He was a member of the Virginville Grange #1832 and Loyal Order of Moose #523.
Charles is survived by one son: Steven C. Mohn, and his wife Karen (Sattazahn) Mohn, Womelsdorf; three daughters: Beckie (Mohn), wife of Dennis Reinhart, Windsor Twp.; Debra (Mohn), wife of Daryl Harnish, Leesport; and Beth (Mohn), wife of John Williamson, Douglasville; and six grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister: Kathryn (Mohn) Mogel, Fredericksburg. Charles was predeceased by a sister: Anna.
Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tilden Twp.
