Cathy L. Bicksler, 65, of Hamburg, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024 in Hershey Medical Center.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Leroy A. and Arlene A. (Kalbach) Shollenberger. She graduated from Hamburg Area High School in 1977. Cathy attended Zion Blue Mountain UCC, Strausstown. She had worked as a unit secretary at Lehigh Valley Hospital before becoming disabled in 2016. She was a fantastic grandmother. She always made time to attend each and every event she could for her grandchildren. She was a significant part of the family that will be missed.

She is survived by a daughter: Melissa S. (Bicksler) Hix, wife of Michael J., Upper Bern Twp.; three grandchildren: Anthony M., Aaron J., and Andrea D. Hix; and three brothers: Steve A. Shollenberger, Bethel Twp., Arlan L. Shollenberger, Myerstown, and Bruce R. Shollenberger, Jefferson Twp.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tilden Twp. A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the funeral home.
