Cathleen J. Geisinger, 45, of Centerport, died on Monday, December 5, 2011, in West Lampeter Twp., Lancaster County. She was the wife of Barry N. Geisinger. They were married on April 13, 1991 and celebrated twenty years of marriage.

Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of Ruth C. (Field) Ohlinger, Mohrsville; and the late Elwood L. Ohlinger. She was a 1984 graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School. Cathy worked for twelve years as a bartender for the Village Tavern, Leesport. She also worked as a flagger for Wexcon, Inc., Mohrsville. She was a member of Salem (Belleman's) Church, Centre Twp. and participated in the church's mission trips. Cathy was vice-president of the Schuylkill Valley Cheer Club; involved with the Schuylkill Valley Swim team; and was also involved with the Berks County 4-H sheep and dairy clubs. Cathy loved all animals, but especially loved her family flock of sheep. Cathy and her husband enjoyed going on wine trails. She will be greatly missed by all the lives she touched.

In addition to her husband and mother, Cathy is survived by two daughters: Chelsea H. Geisinger and Megan J. Geisinger, both at home; and one sister: Constance E. (Ohlinger), wife of Scott A. Troutman, Centre Twp. She is also survived by six nephews: Jason, Eric, and Doug Troutman; Matthew and Phillip Spatz; and Brandon Moyer; one niece: Kerry Moyer; two sister-in-laws: Carol (Geisinger), wife of Rev. Barry Spatz, Fredericksburg; and Debbie (Geisinger), wife of Curtis Moyer, Myerstown; and her father-in-law: Harold N. Geisinger, a guest at the Laurel Center, Tilden Twp.
Memorial services will be on Tuesday at 8:00 pm from Salem (Belleman's) Church, 3540 Belleman's Church Road, Mohrsville, with Rev. Bruce W. Potteiger officiating. A visitation with the family will be held in the church Tuesday 6:30 to 8:00 pm.
