Cassandra J. Adams, 77, of Shoemakersville, died Wednesday, April 19, 2017 in Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Edward F. Adams. They were married June 24, 1961 and celebrated 55 years of marriage. Born in Mohrsville, she was the daughter of the late John and Sophia (Georgianakis) Leibensperger. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Shoemakersville. Cassandra graduated from Perry High School, and Reading Business School. Cassandra and her husband Eddie loved to travel the world and experience new and exciting places. She also enjoyed spending many afternoons and weekends encouraging her grandchildren at sporting events and horse shows along with summer days at the Shoemakersville Pool. Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons: Mark E. Adams, husband of Kathleen (Welsh) Adams, Douglassville, and Matthew E. Adams, husband of Wendy (Orth) Adams, Lower Heidelberg Twp.; and three grandchildren: Griffin, Carter, and Paige Adams. She is also survived by two brothers: John N. "Mick" Leibensperger, husband of Doris, Temple, and Stephen J. Leibensperger, husband of Doris, Perry Twp.; and a sister: Mary Ann (Leibensperger) Schappell, Lancaster. Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg, PA 19526.
