Carolyn P. Forte, Tilden Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 in her residence. Her husband, William P. Forte, Sr., died May 18, 2015. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Aniszczyk) Oleski. Carolyn worked for Acosta Sales and Marketing. She was a member of St. Mary R.C. Church, Tilden Twp. Carolyn loved going shopping with her grandchildren and spending time with them. She also enjoyed going on vacations with her best friend Dianne. They were known as "Thelma and Louise". Carolyn is survived by her children: William P. Forte, Jr., and his wife Amy, Schnecksville; April L. (Forte), wife of Joseph Wilson, Bernville; and Christopher M. Forte, and his wife Aimee, Tilden Twp.; and nine grandchildren: Violet, Billy, Nicholas, Hannah, Joey, Isabella, Gabriella, Christopher and Mason. She is also survived by one brother: Paul Oleski, Philadelphia; two sisters: Dolores Shene, Toms River, New Jersey; and Barbara Ortiz, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 11:00 am from St. Mary R.C. Church, 94 Walnut Road, Hamburg, PA. Due to the current mandate in effect, all those attending must practice social distancing and wear masks.
