Carolyn L. Adam, 88, of Perry Twp., passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026 in the Laurel Center. She was the wife of Thomas R. Adam. They were married on June 22, 1957 and celebrated sixty-nine years of marriage.
Born in Albany Twp., she was the daughter of the late Glenn Fritch and Dorothy (Trexler) Bower; and step-daughter of the late Raymond Bower. Carolyn was a 1956 graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School. She worked in the dietary and laundry departments at Berks Heim for twenty years. Carolyn had been an active member of Grace Fellowship Church, Shillington. She enjoyed going shopping and cleaning.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children: Laurie L. (Adam) Norton, wife of Alan Norton, Bernville; and Joel T. Adam, husband of Stacy (Levan) Adam, Perry Twp.; three grandchildren: Collin Greer, husband of Aubrey; Reece Adam and Riley Adam; and two great-grandchildren: Emmarae Greer and Micah Greer. Carolyn is also survived by her sister: Suzanne Stambaugh, widow of David, Shartlesville; and step-brother: Timothy Bower, husband of Rita, Maryland. She was predeceased by a son: Michael T. Adam; son-in-law: David Greer; sister: Betty Wagner; and step-brother: Terry Bower.
