Carol A. Zuber, 78, of Centre Twp., passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022 in her residence. She was the wife of Craig E. Zuber, Sr., who died April 7, 2020.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Frank, Sr. and Mildred (Pauley) Rotkiske. Carol worked as a pharmacy technician for Rundle's Pharmacy. She then worked as a bus aide for the Berks County Intermediate Unit. Carol enjoyed puzzles, reading, hunting, fishing, going to flea markets and sitting in the shed with Craig. She also enjoyed spending time with her best friend Cheryl Abbott. Carol's faith was very important to her and it carried her through everything.
Carol is survived by a daughter: Bonnie Lou (Rice), wife of Edward Trego, Landisburg; two sons: Robert E. Rice, Jr., Wernersville; and Daniel A. Rice, Sr., South Dakota; one step-son: Craig E. Zuber, Jr., husband of Melissa, Bulls Gap, Tennessee; and one step-daughter: Tammy J. (Zuber), wife of William Bedard, Bullhead City, Arizona; nine grandchildren: Stacey Rice; Kaytlynn, Daniel and Tyler Rice; Jennifer, Laura, Timothy, Samantha and Sara Trego; three step-grandchildren: Desiree Pellegrini, Kalie Zuber and Jani Zuber; sixteen great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by four brothers: Frank Rotkiske, Jr. (Marie); Daniel Rotkiske (Jane); Elwood Rotkiske (Pat); and Donald Rotkiske (Anna); and one sister: Debbie Campbell. Carol was predeceased by two brothers: Mark and Timothy Rotkiske.
