Carol M. Stichter, 78, of Jefferson Twp., passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026 in Reading Hospital. She was the wife of Thomas E. Stichter, who died August 1, 2016.

Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Annamae (Dutter) Krammes. Carol worked at the Hamburg Center and the Berks Heim. She enjoyed scrapbooking, playing bingo, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Carol is survived by one daughter: Tracey R. (Stichter) Greenly, widow of John Greenly, III; Jefferson Twp., and with whom she resided; one grandson: Wesley Heim, companion of Bree Torres; and five great-grandchildren: Julien, Jameson, Jaxson, Layla and Grayson Heim; and three step-great-grandchildren: Kacie Thompson, Braxtyn Russell and Bryson Russell. She is also survived by her sisters: Janice Herrington, wife of Jim; Kathy Krammes; Sharon Mengel, wife of Kenny; and Susan Naftzinger, wife of Bill. Carol was predeceased by two sons: Todd A. Stichter and Tommy E. Stichter; one grandson: William Stichter; and one sister: Gloria Himmelberger, wife of Jay.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.
