Bruce C. Kruppenbach, 81, formerly of Muhlenberg Twp., died Wednesday, July 27, 2011 in Phoebe Berks Village, Wernersville. He was the husband of Betty M. (Dreibelbis) Kruppenbach. They were married on December 26, 1952 and celebrated 58 years of marriage. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Simon and Pearl (Eckenrhode) Kruppenbach. He as a gradute of Reading High School. Bruce was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran of the Korean War. He worked as a plumber for 40 years for Johnson Control, Philadelphia, retiring in 1992. Bruce was a member of Steam Fitters Union. Surviving in addition to his wife is one son: Dean M. Kruppenbach, and his wife Karen of Grand Rapids, Michigan; two grandchildren: Michael and Tara; and one sister: Joan Seiders, Tampa, Florida. Bruce was predeceased by a brother: Richard Kruppenbach; and a sister: Kathryn Flickinger. Services will be held on Monday at 2:00 pm from Phoebe Berks Chapel, Wernersville.
