Bruce D. Cammauf, 78, of Centre Twp., passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025, in Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center. He was the husband of Elaine F. (Meigs) Cammauf. They were married June 5, 1965, and celebrated 60 years of marriage.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Willard M. and Dorothy (Krick) Cammauf. He graduated from Schuylkill Valley High School in 1964. Bruce worked as a machinist at Rockwell International for 35 years and spent many years working on the family farm. He was a member of Central Berks Fire Company; past member of Schuylkill Valley School District School Board from 1979 to 1989, having served as secretary from 1982 to 1989. He was also a member of the Perry Township Game Association. He enjoyed collecting milk bottles and fishing. Bruce loved to attend his children and grandchildren's sporting events, especially basketball games.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter: Crystal U. Cammauf-Young, Centre Twp.; six sons: Braden G. Cammauf, husband of Allison, Manheim Twp., Justin G. Cammauf, husband of Lisa, Hamburg, Trevor C. Cammauf, husband of Susann, Centre Twp., Brent C. Cammauf, husband of Jessica, Gettysburg, Nathan A. Cammauf, husband of Jessica, Bern Twp., and Aaron B. Cammauf, husband of Cori, Bernville; twelve grandchildren: Taylor, Benjamin, Joannye, Logan, Cori, Kylee, Colton, Ashtyn, Chase, Kellen, Miller, and Carl; and three great-grandchildren: Brinlee, Bridget, and Briley. He is also survived by a sister Dianne, niece Valerie, nephew Stephen, his aunt Marilyn (Krick) Shuman, and several cousins.
