Bruce W. Adams, 79, of Lake Wynonah, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Bishow) Adams. They were married June 25, 1978 and celebrated 43 years of marriage . Born in Jersey City, NJ he was the son of the late William G. and Frances M. (Cordingly) Adams. He was a Jehovah's Witness. He graduated from Memorial High School, West New York, NJ in 1960. He was a United States Marine Corp veteran. Bruce worked as a police officer in Ridgefield Park, NJ for 25 years before retiring. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and carpentry. He spent time volunteering as a minister to prisoners for many years. Surviving in addition to his wife is a son: Clinton J. Skala, husband of Stacey A. (Stark), Hillborough, NJ; a son: John Adams; and his grandchildren: Sierra and Pierce Skala; and two other grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son: Michael Adams, and a brother: Wayne Adams.
