Brian N.L. Rentschler, 58, of Bernville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 in the Reading Hospital. Born in West Reading, he was the son of Rose Marie (Blackwell) Rentschler, Shoemakersville; and the late Norman L. Rentschler. He was a graduate of Hamburg Area High School. Brian worked as a cook at various restaurants in the area. He last worked at the Berks Heim. Brian enjoyed cooking and gardening. Surviving in addition to his mother are three brothers: Craig N.L. Rentschler, Aaron N.L. Rentschler, and Lance B.K. Rentschler; five nephews and nieces: Chris, Aric, Dillon, Cathy Jo, and Jill; eight grand nieces and nephews; two aunts and one uncle. Services were held privately.
