Brian R. Reber, 69, of Upper Macungie Twp., died Tuesday, February 23, 2016 in Lehigh Valley Hospital- Cedar Crest. He was the husband of S. Yin (Liem) Reber.
Born in Reading, and raised in Centerport, he was the son of the late Raymond R. and Mabel S. (Machmer) Reber. He was a graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School, and attended North American Rockwell Apprenticeship. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked as an engineer for 18 years for Mack Truck, Macungie, and later was self-employed at Windsor Equipment & Consulting/ Lehigh Trading, Lehigh County for 25 years. He was a member of Vaux Lodge No. 406 F&A.M., Hamburg, NRA, and Moselem Springs Golf Club. He was an avid hunter, golfer, skeet shooter, loved reading, and traveling internationally. He also enjoyed fishing.
Surviving in addition to his wife is one daughter: Wendy J. Reber, Windsor Twp.; a grandson: Tristen B. Trabosh; a sister: Janice L. (Reber) DeWald, Mohrsville; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers: Stanley and Gerald Reber.
