Brett V. Long, 50, of Tilden Twp., passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023 in the Reading Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Tara K. (Longacre) Long. They were married on December 21, 1996 and celebrated twenty-six years of marriage.

Born in Reading, he was the son of Melanie K. (Berry) Roeckle, wife of Jeffrey Roeckle; and the late Enrico Long. Brett was a 1990 graduate of Hamburg Area High School and a 1994 graduate of Bloomsburg University. He received his MBA from St. Joseph's University and completed postgraduate studies at Wharton School of Business. Brett was an EVP/Co-managing director for Customers Bank. He was a Scout Master for Troop #120. Brett enjoyed scuba diving and traveling and was an avid Eagles fan.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother is one son: Alexander K. Long; maternal grandfather: John E. Berry; mother-in-law: Nancy K. Reppert; and his aunts, uncles and cousins. Brett was predeceased by his maternal grandmother: Gladys I. (Henne) Berry.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 13 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport.
