Bonnie S. Shirley, 58, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2014 in Kennestone Hospital, Marietta. She was the wife of Samuel E. Shirley. Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of Samuel E. Stewart, Wyomissing; and the late Shirley C. (Becker) Stewart. Bonnie was a graduate of Hamburg Area High School. She worked at Wright's Knitting Mill, Hamburg; and last worked as a claims adjuster for Sertec Corporation in Georgia. Bonnie enjoyed her retirement in her Georgia home and gardening. Surviving in addition to her husband and father is one daughter: Jenni R., wife of Scott Hill, Perry Twp.; one son: Ryan M. Kutz, husband of Annette, Windsor Twp.; two step-sons: Sam and Greg Shirley; four grandchildren: Evan, Nathan, Sam III, and Justin; and one sister: Karen D. (Stewart), wife of Larry Knouse, Exeter Twp. Bonnie was predeceased by a brother: Gerald R. Stewart. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday at 2:00 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). A visitation with the family will be on Sunday from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. Burial will be private in St. Paul's (Smoke) Cemetery, Windsor Twp.
