Bonnie L. Moyer, 69, of Shoemakersville, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2011 in the Reading Hospital. She was the wife of A. Brian Moyer. They were married on July 24, 1965 and celebrated 46 years of marriage.

Born in Lewisburg, she was the daughter of the late Russell S. and Beatrice D. (Evans) Yocom. She attended Perry High School and graduated from Bryland Institute, Reading, in March 1960. Bonnie worked as a beautician with her mother Beatrice and later managed her own shop in Shoemakersville. She was a member of St. Luke's Church, Shoemakersville.

Surviving in addition to her husband is one daughter: Shilpa L. (Moyer), wife of Adam N. Moser, Shoemakersville; two grandsons: Ajay and Aron; one brother: Russell S., husband of Roseann (Reppert) Yocom, Windsor Twp.; three sisters: Judy L. (Yocom), wife of John C. Fisher, Shoemakersville; Dolleen P. (Yocom), widow of Ronald R. Eroh, Fleetwood; and Zena B. (Yocom), wife of Gary Burkert, Exeter Twp.; and her mother-in-law: Margaret E. (Schappell) Moyer, a guest at Hearthstone.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear) with Rev. Walter W. Breiner officiating. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Hamburg. A visitation with the family will be held in the funeral home Tuesday 10:00 to 11:00 am.
