Betty L. Miller Luckenbill, 83, of Ontelaunee Twp., passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 in Berks Heim. She was the wife of Lynn A. Luckenbill, who died May 1, 2018. Betty was also predeceased by her first husband: Arlan L. Miller, Jr., who died January 5, 1978. Born in Penn Twp., she was the daughter of the late Wilfred R. and Mary P. (Ohlinger) Labe. She was a 1955 graduate of Penn Bernville High School. Betty was a seamstress for Crown Knitting Mill, Mohrsville; and also for Celebrated Occasions Bridal Salon. She also owned Bib-A-Lot, making aprons, towels, Christmas tree skirts, and children's bibs. Betty enjoyed traveling, playing cards, good food and laughter. She was a member of Bern United Church of Christ, Bern Twp. Betty is survived by a daughter: Karen L. Miller, wife of Ivette Valdes, Lynnwood, Washington; two step-sons: Daniel A. Luckenbill, Dauberville; and Donald A. Luckenbill, husband of Amy, Omaha, Nebraska; four granddaughters: Jaime, Nichole, Ali, and Shannon; two step-grandsons: Dallas and Andrew; and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law: Mary Jane Labe and Gloria Luckenbill; and uncle: Claude Ohlinger. Betty was predeceased by her step-daughter: Donna Miller Perzel; and her brother: Kenneth F. Labe, Sr. Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in Bern Cemetery.
