Betty J. Hill, 84, of Perry Twp., passed away Monday, July 29, 2024 in Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Twp. She was the wife of Daniel T. Hill. They were married July 26, 1958 and celebrated 66 years of marriage.

Born in Berks County, she was the daughter of the late Earl D. and Mae E. (Keim) Rubright. She graduated from Perry High School in 1958. Betty worked as a secretary at Hill Manufacturing, Shoemakersville until retirement; and had owned and operated her own beauty shop for 30+ years. She always enjoyed reading; especially the Bible.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters: Danell T. (Hill) Myers, wife of Craig, Perry Twp., and Dory T. Hill, Hamburg; and two grandchildren: Ashley M. Hill and Earl D. Miller. She is also survived by her siblings: Jean, Helen, David, Paul, and Donald. She was predeceased by two siblings: Shirley and Douglas.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 2, 2024 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg (Off street parking in rear). Burial will follow in Zion's Cemetery, Perry Twp. A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the funeral home.
