Betty Ann Knowles, 82, of Windsor Twp., passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital, Orwigsburg. She was the wife of William J. Knowles. They were married December 1, 1973 and celebrated 51 years of marriage.

Born in Staten Island, NY, she was the daughter of the late William Howard Hampton and Adeline Rose (DeLecce) Hampton. She graduated from New Dorp High School in 1961. Betty Ann worked on Wall Street in a Brokerage House prior to marriage; and later worked as an administrative assistant for management services until retirement. She enjoyed casinos, crossword puzzle books, and going to listen to live music venues.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a son: Ryan William Knowles, companion of Rachel Armenta, Mohrsville; a daughter: Keri Ann (Knowles) Wagner, wife of Jeffrey, The Woodlands, TX; grandchildren: Logan William Knowles, Madelyn Isabelle Wagner, Ella Claire Wagner, and Robbie and Maria Armenta. She is also survived by a brother: Russell Hampton, Vermont. She was predeceased by a sister: Debra A. (Hampton) Kasprovitz.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 12:30 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. A viewing will be held Tuesday, August 26 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Wednesday, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm in the funeral home.
