Benton N. Kissinger, 101, formerly of Centre Twp., a resident at Laurel Center, Tilden Twp., passed away, Friday, March 7, 2025 in Laurel Center. He was the husband of the late Mary Jane (Gromis) Kissinger, died December 22, 2015.

Born in Dauberville, he was the son of the late Harold A. and Laura (Miller) Kissinger Marderness. He was a US Navy Veteran, serving during World War II. Benton worked as produce manager for A&P, later known as Superfresh Food Market; working at 10 different stores across the area and retiring after 22 years. He was a member of the former Trinity UCC, Leesport. He was also a member of Vaux Lodge No. 406 F&AM, Hamburg, Tall Cedars of Lebanon Neversink Forest #32, and was a life member of Shoemakersville and Central Berks Fire Companies. He enjoyed golfing.

He is survived by a daughter: Linda F. (Kissinger) Naugle, wife of Randall R., Blandon; two grandchildren: Jessica L. (Naugle) Bodor, wife of Justin D., Oley, and Jeffrey T. Naugle, husband of Danielle M. (Ramich), Centre Twp.; and three great-grandchildren: Charlotte J. Bodor, Gavin D. Bodor, and Landon J. Naugle. He was predeceased by a sister: Fern (Kissinger) Fisher, and a brother: Arlan Kissinger.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, March 14, 2025 at 2:00 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport. Burial will be private in Fairview (Belleman's) Cemetery.
