Beatrice B. Garcia, 82, formerly of Leesport, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 in the Laurel Center. She was the companion of Albert C. Grow, Leesport, with whom she resided. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Nevin and Rachel (Rush) Seifert. Beatrice enjoyed puzzles, crafts and bingo and was known for her apple pies, pumpkin pies and kiffles. She taught her daughter-in-law Pat how to make her potato filling. Surviving in addition to her companion is one son: James P. Garcia, and his wife Patricia, Shoemakersville; three grandchildren: Shane, Stacy and Kelly Garcia; and one great-granddaughter: Madison. Beatrice is also survived by one brother: William Seifert, Bethlehem; and two sisters: Joan Toth, Wescosville; and Elizabeth Cerny, in Florida. She was predeceased by a son: Glenn Garcia; and a brother: Robert Seifert. Arrangements will be at the convenience of the family.
