Obituary

Barry A. Kramer, 62, of Shartlesville, died Monday, November 12, 2012 in the residence of his companion, Vicki J. (Brown) Faust. Born in Shartlesville, he was the son of the late Rufus N. and Violet R. (Long) Kramer. He was a 1968 graduate of Hamburg Area High School and attended Kutztown University for three years. Barry was the Steward at the Keystone Social Club, Hamburg, since October of 1972. He was known as "Bomber" to the members and patrons of the Keystone. Barry was an avid bowler, organizing the bowling league at the Keystone Social Club; and participating in various bowling leagues in the area. He was a member of the Shartlesville Fire Company and the Strausstown Rod and Gun Club. Barry is survived by his companion Vicki, of Coplay and with whom he resided; three nieces: Dodie J. Kramer and Tamineh J. Kramer, both of Upper Bern Twp.; and Karen L. (Kramer) Liss, Mohnton; one nephew: Kevin L. Kramer, Sr., Phoenixville; and two sister-in-laws: June E. (Speicher) Kramer, Upper Bern Twp.; and Gloria J. (Balthaser) Kramer, Windsor Twp. Barry was predeceased by two brothers: Arlan R. Kramer and Larry J. Kramer. A Social Gathering to remember Barry A. Kramer will be held on Saturday, November 24 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at CJ Hummel's Restaurant, 28 Willow Street, Lenhartsville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Peaceable Kingdom, P.O. Box 424, 1049 MacArthur Road, Whitehall, PA 18104.
