Barry H. Beitler, 81, of Leesport, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022 in his residence. He was the husband of the late Anna Mae (Moyer) Beitler, who died January 8, 2022.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Floyd E.W. Beitler, and Carrie (Gotthardt) Beitler. He graduated from William Allen High School. Barry was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity, Leesport. He worked for 38 years as a material technician at MACK Trucks, Macungie, retiring in 2001. He enjoyed planting flowers, watching western movies, and his dogs. He especially loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by two sons: Brian A. Beitler, husband of Laurie J. (Connelly), Asheville, NC, and Michael D. Beitler, Middletown; a daughter: Lori A. (Beitler) Witinkski, wife of Stan E., Leesport; and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers: Floyd and Terry Beitler; and five sisters: Susan Beitler, Dorothy Beitler, Reta (Beitler) Harryn, Gloria (Beitler) Lavish, and Margaret (Beitler) Mann.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 26, 2022 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport. Burial will follow in Leesport Cemetery.
