Barbara A. Engle, 80, of Leesport, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022 in her residence with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of Kenneth W. Engle They were married on June 27, 1959 and celebrated sixty-three years of marriage.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Issac and Myrtle (Phillips) Schwab. Barbara first worked or Western Electric. She and her husband Kenneth then owned and operated Engle's Family Restaurant. She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church. Barbara enjoyed going to Wildwood, bingo, and ceramics. She took wonderful care of Kenneth following his accident.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her children: Brenda S. (Engle), wife of Richard J. Henry, and Brian K. Engle, husband of Cynthia (Smith), both of Maidencreek Twp.; four grandchildren: Justin Soumas, husband of Angela, Nicole Wily, wife of Matthew; and Kayla and Kandace Engle; four great-grandchildren: Aiden, Ryleigh, Hailey and Madison; and several nieces and nephews. Barbara was predeceased by siblings: Donald Schwab; Janice Miller and Carol Ibach.

Services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery.
